We are Smartpitch Technologies Ltd, trading as Smart Pitch Technologies, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17161471). Our registered office is Unit 1-3, District Park, Margate, Kent, CT9 4JZ. We are developing SmartPitch, an intelligent control system that cuts the energy used by heated sports pitches.

2. What we collect

• If you register your interest or contact us: your name, email address, club or venue, phone number if you give it, and anything you write in your message.
• When you visit the site: basic technical information needed to serve the pages. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, or any analytics.

We do not collect any special category (sensitive) personal data, and this website is not directed at children.

3. How we use it, and our lawful bases

• To respond to you and keep in touch about SmartPitch: you have asked us to contact you, so we rely on our legitimate interests in responding, and on taking steps at your request ahead of any possible contract.
• To let you know about SmartPitch's launch and related news: occasional updates to people who registered interest, with the right to opt out at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

• Netlify, which hosts this website and stores form submissions on our behalf.
• Our email provider, which handles our correspondence with you.
• Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

5. Where data is stored and international transfers

Form submissions are stored by Netlify, which may process them in the United States. Where data leaves the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and register-of-interest details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you ask us to remove your details sooner, we will.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; have inaccurate data corrected; have data deleted in certain circumstances; restrict or object to certain processing; receive a copy of data you provided in a portable format; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any right, email info@smartpitchtechnologies.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, although we would welcome the chance to resolve any concern first.
